It’s Monday morning — a fresh start, a new breath, a quiet invitation to begin again.
For years, I used to wake up on Mondays feeling behind. The shame from the weekend would still be sitting on my chest. I’d scroll social media, compare myself to women who seemed so put together, and wonder, Why can’t I get it right?
But one of the most beautiful things recovery and faith have taught me is this:
God’s mercies are new every morning… even on Mondays.
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” – Lamentations 3:22–23 (NLT)
You don’t need to wait for a milestone, a new month, or perfect conditions.
You get to start again today.
Maybe you slipped.
Maybe you’re tired.
Maybe you’re just barely holding on.
Even so, you’re not disqualified. God’s love didn’t skip over you. His grace isn’t waiting until you “get it right.” It’s right here — in the quiet of this morning — whispering: Come back. I’m still with you.
Here’s your gentle challenge today:
– Start with prayer, even if it’s messy. “God, help me.”
– Choose one small thing that honors your healing — take a walk, drink water, write one truth on a sticky note.
– Speak life over yourself instead of shame.
You are not who you were last week.
You are growing, and God sees every step.
If your heart is craving more support…
I’m creating something for women like you, women who want more than just sobriety. Women who want peace, identity, and purpose rooted in Christ. I’ll be sharing more soon, and I’d love to walk this journey with you.
Until then, take this Monday moment as a sacred reset.
You’re not behind — you’re becoming.
