For years, my heart and my journey have been deeply rooted in recovery, supporting women who felt unseen, unheard, or out of place in traditional spaces. My own story of long-term recovery and my relationship with Jesus inspired me to create Recovery 4 Her, a place where women could find faith-based support as they healed and grew.
But recently, as I’ve been navigating my own massive life transition — one filled with deep surrender, courage, and an even stronger reliance on God — I felt Him calling me into something new. This transition has changed me in ways I’m still uncovering, and I look forward to sharing more of that story with you in the future.
Through prayer and reflection, I realized that healing and transformation don’t only happen in recovery from substances. They happen in all the moments when we’re asked to start over: moving to a new country, stepping away from a relationship, changing careers, rediscovering our faith, or simply waking up to the realization that God is calling us deeper.
That’s when Beyond Her Shore was born.
The name Beyond Her Shore represents a faithful, Spirit-led transition. It’s about stepping away from the familiar shoreline of who we’ve been and courageously venturing into deeper, unknown waters – trusting God to guide us every step of the way. It’s about believing there is more waiting for us beyond what we can see or imagine.
This doesn’t mean I’m leaving recovery behind. That part of my story will always hold a sacred place in my heart. But I now feel called to also support the woman who is navigating any kind of major life change… the woman rebuilding her life, rediscovering her identity, and rising into who God created her to be.
If you find yourself in a season of transition – whether it’s recovery, a new chapter, or a deep soul awakening – I want you to know you’re not alone. Together, we can rebuild, renew, and rise.
Thank you for journeying with me from Recovery 4 Her to Beyond Her Shore. I believe this is exactly where God is leading me (and us), and I can’t wait to share more of my story and walk this new path alongside you.
